Throughout time gemstones have been very sought after objects. Aside from being beautiful and luxurious they have been known to carry life energy. They have been used throughout the world to attract luck, love, wealth, stability, health, etc.
Gemstones can be used in magick to enhance the power of spells and prayer. They can be used in non-magick situations by keeping them close to your body such as in jewelry or in your pocket. Gemstones are also powerful additives in meditation.
Here I have compiled a list of stones and their meanings. Keep in mind that each gem is special to the person and just because one stone brings you protection, it may not be as well received to another. Each person will react differently to each stone.
